Italeri – Pz Kpfw VI Tiger Ausf E (‘Tropical’) 1:35 Scale Model assembly kit by Italeri of Italy.
This model kit design was the model maker Italeri’s first ever model kit of a Tiger I. It was a visual combination of Tigers from the 501st (Battle of Tebourba, Tunisia) and 504th (Tunisia) heavy tank battalions of the 3rd Reich with minute surface equipment layout differences to other Tigers. The (Tp) for Tropical is in reference to the Tropical environment of olive groves that 4 Tigers of the 501st fought in near Tebourba, Tunisia.
