Report AbuseInternals: Chinese grade mechanism (crude block of metal inside) locking spring based mechanism for the bipod retraction and spring based extension, internally placed spring, spring overpowered for purpose. Robust but overpowered (produces a distinct, loud mechanical sound), spring vibrates within Nylon tube when opening. Although very Strong exterior, easy to fix/replace spring, little internal complexity.
