Realistic scale model kit depicting the Panther II Mine clearing Tank / MDCV. The Panther II is an M1 Abrams hull with a minimalistic lookout turret and various mine clearance systems. The Panther II was pictured in active service in Iraq in 2007. The Abrams hull Panther II replaced the M60A3 based Panther I. The Panther II is used as an armoured low-profile mine clearance vehicle and is armed (.50) for CQB self-defence.
